Hi, I've read alot about this picot stitch, and I have no idea what it is, does anyone know of any instructional video or instructions I can download? I feel at a loss, and maybe I'm trying to take in too much info at once, but I really want to learn about all the different stitch types and get a good grasp on them so I can just get off to a running start. Thanks in advance.

If you look in the slide show on the main page at the white hat with the purple brim .... the purple brim is done in Picot Cast On by Brenda Myers. The instructions for it can be found at loomlady.blogspot.comIt is in the pattern for the Angel Keep in mind the angel is done on the spool loom I believe, but you can do the Picot Cast On on any loom. You follow the same instructions and keep going around the loom until you have a complete cast on. Hope this helps you out.

You're welcome. It is a little confusing at first (to some) but once you get the hang of it it is super easy. I like using it for rufflie hat brims and the tops of booties.

I did the Angel with the Picot. As was said earlier-it takes a moment for the instructions to click in. But, once it does, it's easy and quick. Oh by the way--once you do it, you will be thinking and searching for another project to add picot's to, LOL!
Have fun! LindaJ aka eljay
