yarn in the Uk is marked different from USA does any one have a chart of what the yarns are to one another as we say ply and you have weight and we buy by the gram and you by the yard? Is this right

correct! I think the best chart I've seen is on lion brand's website: www.lionbrand.com/cgi-bin/yarnInfo.cgi?yarnByClass=1This lists their yarns, the little Number for weight and then underneath sates the UK/aussie equivalent. They used to have a much neater chart but I'll have to hunt for it...
