I desperately need some help from you guys.I'm trying to loom the expandable purse from the Provo Craft website. Clella Gustin designed it, and I love the bag, because I can never find one I like in the stores. They are toooo small. I carry more than lipgloss and a mint! I do fine until you get to step 4 in the instructions, where it says to take loops from other side and bring them over to the side you're knitting. You're lamost done at this point, BUT, this closes up the opening to the bag! Which would probably be a money saver for me, because I couldn't get in the darn thing! Has anyone tried this, or can you tell if I'm doing something wrong? I had it almost finished the first time, frogged it and started over, here I am again! I asked the Yahoo group people, but no answer. Help!

Ok I found the pattern. It is a bit confusing to me but it sounds like you are knitting the bag upside down and finish off with the bottom of the bag. I hae no idea though without doing it and actually seeing it.

Actually, it starts out with the first tube for handle, then you do your fun fun etc. The bottom of the bag proceeds down through the middle of the loom, then you end up with doing your other ff stripe and handle tube is last. It goes along pretty easy and quickly until the part of moving loops from one side to the other. You lose your bag opening then. I really love the bag!

Chelle, someone on the yahoo group webbie gave me her interpretation, it makes sense if I can just get it straigtened out. It's not even close to Clella directions! So, I'm trying it again, this makes the 4th time, I think. I'll let you know if it works.

Good luck with it. I saw the reply on Yahoo and it made sense there. I hope it works out, and if it does I would love to see pics!!

I found the pattern, but I'm not sure where you are at on it. If you are still doing it as I see this is an old post.
One word about Provocraft pattern site. Especially on the KK's they are lax in their directions a LOT! They leave steps or explanations out. It's very frustrating and many have mentioned this in the groups. LindaJ
