You might be allergic to the wool. My brother is very allergic to down, and that's one of the first symptoms he experiences. Just a thought.

I do, I get itchy hands. If I touch wool to my face I break out. I found out that it is the chemicals that they use to process it. I have used natural unprocessed wool, with no reaction.

Wow, well at least you know what to avoid. I had a really bad reaction to cherry flavored slurpee drink, and I have no idea if its the cherry itself or the red dye. So now I just avoid cherry all together. And I love cherries!

Sylvia I would think it would be something other than cherries, I think they use artificial flavoring in those. Might want to look into that. If it is the cherries I am so sorry because they are sooooo yummy.

I know, I love cherries! I don't have medical insurance, so I haven't been able to get the allergy test done. So just to be on the safe side, I just try to stay away from anything cherry. I've had really bad reactions, i'm talking about hives, facial swelling and alot more. It's been really bad!

Oh maybe I will have to try the unprocessed wool. I do realize it is allergies, but I really want to do some felting.

My mom took a few classes to learn how to felt a few weeks ago. I just bought her a felting tool on ebay. It is her new favorite thing to do.
