Hi all! I am new to loom knitting and my first project is a baby hat. I am using bernat pipsqueak yarn and the smallest round loom. I am using the e-stitch and really trying to focus on wrapping loosely but once I get 3 or 4 rows cast on, I find it very difficult to pull my yarn over. I even snapped my yarn the other day and that was quite frustrating but the. Reason I believe it snapped was because I had previously unwrapped that yarn because it was too tight and I think the yarn was weaker. Can someone please help me or tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance!!

I have the same problem with super bulky yarn. But I might have a fix for ya. If you are "e" wrapping are you doing it by hand, no tools??? If so this is what I done. I found a pen that the point fits between the pegs. Then I took apart the inside of the pen and threaded my yarn through it. Now I have a pen to hold on to when I do my "e" wraps. Also I pull out some yarn from the ball and lay it loose on the side. That way their is no tension on my working yarn unless I want some. Hope this helps
