I haven't had the time or energy to loom anything lately, but I always have time to chit-chat!! lol
My summer has been kind of crazy so far. My mom is recovering from cancer, so I've spent a lot of time worrying and praying for her.
It's been cold and rainy since school let out. We did get our garden in and it's doing fabulous. Jacob's boy's group at Church had a camp-out over the weekend that I took both kids to. Then to an open-house and that evening to a bonfire.
Over the weekend we found out that Grace has pneumonia so that has been lots of fun. ER on Sunday and doctor visit tomorrow.
I'm really hoping my summer calms down a bit!!

I have been looming these past couple of months. I found some Lion's Brand Chunky yarn @ Michael's for $0.99, and I couldn't resist it! I probably wouldn't buy the colors usually, but as I said, the price was too good to pass up. I started knitting it up on my Green KK long loom. I'm doing stockinette stitch (I think!), and knitting it as a double knit. It's knitting up so thick and warm, I think it'll probably end up a lapghan.

I'm really excited to see it finished too! So far, it's really warm and thick. I think it's going to be great in the winter, I seem to get colder here where I live. I grew up in a town in southern New Mexico that's really, really hot. Where I live now, in northern New Mexico, is close to the mountains, so it gets a lot colder.

I found some .99 cent yarn at Michael's too. I found moonlight mohair, bought all kinds of colors. I have made 3 scarfs so far.
