My birthday is not till May but since we live on the road my mom wanted to send me my package early while we are at a stable address. I got the box today and it is a good size box filled with yarn!!! I guess she went to a yard sale and hit the jackpot LOL. She got it all for a quarter a skein. Lots of cotton, some Fun Fur, and some Mohair. Plus bday money (yarn money lol) Then I knew she was sending money so I told hubby I was going to order a efg sock loom from Kiss. He surprised me and said he was getting me one and ordered it today!! I am so excited I cannot wait for it to get here!!!!
oh and bday money=sock yarn LOL

My sock loom came on Friday, I am about a third of the way done with the first sock. I practiced with some scrap yarn first. Right now I am trying Isela's Schooner Sock. I have to adjust the pattern though since the gage on the Kiss Loom is different from hers.
I have done slipper socks and booties on the Knifty Knitters, but this is my first time on an efg.

I looked at the Kiss Looms, but they look really hard to use. I got a little confused with the 2 different pegs! Lol, do you find it hard to use at all, I just wanted to know because it does look interesting, and I wanna try and make socks. Thanks!

from looking at the pics of it online I thought I woud be majorly confused. When it came it looked over whelming, but Cliff sends a beautifully made instruction booklet with lots of big pics in it. It was very easy to figure out. My Shooner sock on it is going very fast. The gauge is different (smaller) than the DA sock loom so I had to figure out how many pegs to use. Her pattern says 64 pegs but on the Kiss I found out you use 48 pegs. I debated between DA and Kiss and am so glad I went with Kiss.
